Flashermac
A number of 192,000 drinking water bottles worth a total of US$32,000 have been cleared for transportation to the National Stadium. The water, passing Nong Khai customs checkpoint at 4pm on Friday, is part of aid from Laos to its neighbouring country. They will be transported to the National Stadium, one of government centres for donations, by eight trucks. Supporting the donation include Beer Lao Co Ltd and Dao Ruang Co Ltd. The Nation ------------------------ No help wanted from the US or UN, but the government will accept aid for the PDR Laos.

Flashermac
It was years before Beer Lao was even permitted in Thailand - Thai brewers kept it out. A Lao was bitching about it to me once, saying you could buy Bia Lao in the US and much of the world - but not LOS. I asked if I could buy Thai beer in Laos. He clammed up. WorldFun
amazing video lol!! on the original post I dont think this shipment was provided as aid merely allowed to be imported and sold into Thailand. usually few foreign waters are found in LOS apart from the few premium euro brands like perrier et all, so an exemption have to be made in times of crisis...
