The Man With the Golden Gun is on here tonite, and so far the 'Bangkok' scenes could be anywhere but I'm hoping that will change when they get to the famous car chases.

Jesus, Lumpini looks exactly the same as it did when I went in 2008. Thankfully, I don't recall any dead women seated in the front rows, but I cant say that's usually high on my list of things to look out for. I dont know how many T360ers would remember the AMC Hornet Bond drives in the famous bridge-jump, but American Motors disappeared long before the rest of Detroit ran into trouble. If you had told me in 1974 (I was 15 or so) that AMC were selling V8 ponycars in Bangkok, I would have replied 'Where's Bangkok ?'. For Flasher and other GIs, an AMC showroom must have seemed like a little piece of Main St USA transplanted into a city which, by my reckoning, would still have been very Thai - anyone ?
