Guest Posted November 20, 2001 Report Share Posted November 20, 2001 Anyone notice that the numbers are changing on the Air-conditioned Busses around Bangkok. old no.18 is now no.517, old no.15 is now no.515 and the list goes on. Bembaman Posted November 20, 2001 Report Share Posted November 20, 2001 I cannot speak for those particular numbers McJ but the 11 has become 511 because there were 2 different routes for number 11. One had a blue board in the front window and one a white, but there were still plenty of confused Thais nad Farangs so they changed it. Probably the same for those numbers you cited. MooNoi Posted November 24, 2001 Report Share Posted November 24, 2001 Apparently, according to BKK Post, by the end of the year the buses will have English destinations signs on them as well as Thai, so that will make my life a LOT easier!!!
