International Fleet Review, Sydney Harbour Oct 2013

Not sure how many have any interest in this, but I'm guessing that it's rare to see Chinese, American and Russian warships docked alongside one another in a spectacular harbour. Not sure that I'd want to be anywhere near The Rocks this weekend, but I've never been terribly happy down there anyway - too many idiots - but hopefully it will all go smoothly.

They've only just started sailing into the harbour - I'll update this thread with photos when they become available.

When we had ships lined up like that, we always made friends with the bosun or engineers and we given tours

of each others ships. Often ate meals on the other ships. While around the pier, things were OK but in the pub...

If you were wearing a frilly shirt, I'm not surprised things didnt go so well in the pubs ! ;)
