Guest Posted May 21, 2002 Report Posted May 21, 2002 I hear that XP ships with one worldwide binary, so that all languages are supported out the box. Has anyone used XP to switch the system menus from English - Thai, and what is your opinion of it. Also, does MS Office come in language versions, or does switching the input local on Windows XP take care of all installed products? DD
whosyourdaddy Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 XP is able to read/ write thai for windows based programs such as office XP, MS messanger etc. Other programs will not work with just switching the language bar to Thai ( ie winamp, etc.) Others such as IE you still have to download the fonts into the directories. Hope that helps WYD
