well last night at ladprao were not more than few thousands really, but im sure chidlum got better foods, drinks and most importantly...celebrities :)

anyway any % of voter turnout will be deemed as succesful as PM herself managed to vote (for herself)...well if putting ballots in the wrong boxes counts :easter:

@pakapong_report: Total Bkk voters have 4,369,120 and today 1,1143,667 votes with 26.18% and 3,224, 453 not voted 73%

And in the red shirt heartland voter turnout below 50% a very strong message to this govt methinks!!

bangkokpundit â€@bangkokpundit 10m

Thai Rath : Udon Thani 538k voted or 48% turn-out (contrast 69% in 2011 which one was one of lowest then)

#Thailand 12 million have rights in Central Region, 5.2 million voted, that 42% without PDRC voters mostly in Bangkok

Rajprasong_News â€@Rajprasong_News 23s

#Thailand 9 million have rights in the North, 4.9 million voted, that 54% voting

Rajprasong_News â€@Rajprasong_News 50s

#Thailand EC: 16 million in the Northeast, 9 million voted, that's 56% @Farmersson

These are the figures from the red shirt press agency themself! So even they admit to a ridiculously low turnout in their own stronghold. Wonder what the real figures are.

Police seal off Thai-Japanese Bridge following mysterious shooting

A man and a woman were injured by gunshot wounds in a midnight shooting on Thai-Japanese Bridge in Samyan area.

The man was identified as Prapun Promvisit, 33. He was heading home from Samyan market shortly before midnight. He was driving on the bridge, only to find that there was a blockage in the middle of the bridge.

Nation Channel reported that he lowered the window and was telling cars behind him to turn back, when three shots were fired. One shot hit the windshield, scraped his ear and passed through to the back. Another bullet hit the side mirror. Prapun received treatment at Theptarin Hospital and went home.

Erawan Rescue Center said the woman, whose name was not revealed, had a minor wound in her shoulder. She was already discharged from Lertsin Hospital.

Following the shooting, police sealed off the bridge.
