Flashermac
Lots of talk by the Thais at work about this today, the red shirts at the Khorat meeting cheering the deaths and injuries at Trat having been shown on Thai TV last night. The reds are really shooting themselves in the foot these days at every chance they get. At both Trat and Ratchaprasong, the dead were mostly children and from families that had nothing to do with the protests. Nevertheless, how many remember the red shirts 3 years ago cheering every time an M79 HE grenade exploded at Saladaeng after being fired at random into civilian crowds by Seh Daeng's men at Lumpini Park? Nothing new here.

WorldFun
indeed pure cowards if there ever was one. or are we being too soft putting too much value on random lost lives or suicide bombers?
Flashermac
The Thai TV News at 5 PM yesterday spend quite a bit of time on the Trat bombings. The pictures of the dead children were gripping. A bomb does not discriminate who gets killed and/or injured... The children at Trat were shot, not killed by bombs. They were deliberately targeted. As Suthep said last night, the people who were calling for death and arson three years ago were rewarded by Thaksin with high position's in Yingluck's government! That says it all. "Feel the power of the Dark Side of the Force." This poster is somewhat unfair, but it sums up what a lot of folks feel ...
