Flashermac
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has said that it will wrap up the cases filed against some MPs and senators within this month for their role in charter amendments related to selecting senators, NACC spokesman Vicha Mahakun said Wednesday. He said of the 308 MPs and senators facing charges, some had testified on the case, while others sought more time pending additional investigation. Those seeking additional time included ex-House speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont and former senate speaker Nikom Wairatpanij. Vicha said the NACC agreed to their request, but believed it could wrap up the cases for those who had provided testimony because it was not necessary for all the investigation to be completed at the same time. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingnews/NACC-hopes-to-wrap-up-some-cases-this-month-30229053.html
