HER: Som Tam isn’t from Thailand, It’s from Issan, Laos, you know? ME: But Issan is in Thailand! HER: Yes, But Thai people think Issan is Laos. ME: But people in Issan are Thai. Do they think they are from Laos? HER: I don’t know…… ME: Don’t they teach you anything at school? ( I already knew the answer to this one.) Oh Well…. What can you say…?
