Flashermac Posted April 24, 2014 Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 Chiang Mai University has imposed regulations on tourists, following complaints by its staff and students about Chinese visitors causing disturbances around its campus. The institution has become a popular sightseeing spot for Chinese tourists after the success of the 2012 Hangover-esque comedy ‘Lost in Thailand’. Many of them, wanting to experience the journey taken by a character in the film, have boarded on-campus buses, snuck into classrooms, and pitched tents inside the establishment. More on the story.
