Flashermac Posted May 3, 2014 Report Share Posted May 3, 2014 Anti-government protesters camping at the Constitutional Court will not block the caretaker premier when she goes to the court next week to face trial for the illegal transfer of the chief of the National Security Council. However, they will stop any pro-government red shirts from entering the court because they could threaten judges or National Anti-Corruption Commission members. The message was conveyed by Phra Buddha Issara, a monk who supervises the rally in front of the court on Chaeng Wattana Road, to First Anti-aircraft Artillery Regiment general commander Worawut Wuttisiri yesterday. Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is due to appear at the court by May 6, but it is yet to be confirmed if she will go herself or send representatives to testify on her behalf. Phra Buddha Issara and six buses carrying protesters went to the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority and Ministry of Public Health yesterday to promote a May 16-18 rally that will call for power to be returned to His Majesty the King. Meanwhile, Maj. General Dr Rienthong Nanna, director of Mongkutwattana General Hospital, posted on his Facebook that a guard was in a serious condition at the hospital after an M-79 bomb attack. Separately, Royal Thai Army deputy spokesman Col Sirichan Nga-Thong said that Army chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha chaired a meeting of army units, in which he said the military should work with all its ability to meet the public's expectations. Sirichan said the general said that the army should be the main organisation delivering stability to the country and taking care of the country, so it needed to be ready for every situation. Nothing like illegally stopping people on what *** you *** *** think *** they might be up to...hello...there are police and army in Thailand to provide security!!
