Guest Posted October 7, 2014 Report Share Posted October 7, 2014 From the US national registry of exonerations 12.09.2014 Michelle Murphy was convicted in 1995 of murdering her 15-week-old son, Travis, and sentenced to life in prison without parole after police got her to confess. She was exonerated in 2014 when DNA tests confirmed the results of pre-trial blood tests that had been concealed by the prosecution, and proved that blood found at the scene did not come from Murphy or her son.
