stumpy
Hi, I had planned to visit again in early January but now I am thinking about bringing that forward to Christmas. I know Christams is busy but I've never been at that time of year and I would appreciate your views please. Is it difficult to get a hotel at this time? Is every where too busy to be fun? Any info/experiences gratefully received.
Murphy
You should have no problem finding a hotel, the first place I emailed last week (Majestic) confirmed my reservation straight away. Don't know how busy it will be though, as this is my first high season in Thailand.
Hardy641
I wouldn’t bother to come over Christmas. Between Christmas and New Year the country is extremely crowded with guys visiting their GFs leading to the only a shortage of (beautiful) girls of the year. And you have to pay 1000 Baht barfine at Christmas (2days) and New Year (1 day) atleast. Anyhow wondering, if the how long the bars can open the Christmas week.
