Can anyone recommend a message board like this that covers computer stuff ? hardware and software for the seriously technically challenged (i.e. simple and useful everyday stuff about MS OS XP, wordprocessing, spreadsheets, e-mail etc.).

 

 

 

Tried a few search engines but they turn up all sorts of horrendously complicated boards dealing with protocols scripts languages and stuff where I don?t even understand the question let alone the answer!

OK, you want a message board about spreadsheets ? I plugged 'Excel Message Board' into Google (www.google.com) and it returned a swathe of entries. I chose this one :

Not as sophisticated as the message board you are currently using, but it does seem to contain some questions and answers. You may find the answer to a problem you have with MS Excel in here, but its more likely that you will get better results if , for example, you try to use Excel and it returns an error message regarding 'circular references'. Again, Google returns a host of hits under 'Groups' that look promising.

I do use Google a bit but now realize I need to be more specific with the questions for it to be useful for me ? again thanks artiew your comment has been very useful to me.
