stumpy Posted June 12, 2002 Report Share Posted June 12, 2002 I recently emailed GP for their prices for June/July. In the email I enquired about discount for a well known travel website. On comparing the reply I see that the prices are much higher than the quote received by my friend, for example I have been offered an Executive room for 13,000 per week where my friend has been offered it for 10,400. The email informs me that I may receive a 20% discount on these prices which, surprise, surprise makes the room 10,4000. So it seems the GP inflates the prices if you ask for a discount rate so they can reduce it back down to the regular rate...not my type of discount Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HSTEACH Posted June 12, 2002 Report Share Posted June 12, 2002 My weekly rate for a Topaz is 7280 Baht. That's beginning next week. That's the price I've paid the last 2 trips. That is based on the TSM rate with no breakfast or any other extras. Maybe I get this rate because I've stayed there a dozen times, who knows.
