zanemay
I have heard "mah lang" used to refer to germs (?) or something related to disease. I also see that it means "flys." Can somebody please clarify this. Thanks, Zane
markle
Two separate things. Ma -reng (??????)? - cancer Ma- lang (????)- insects (don't get confused with Mang -???-or arachnids) clear?
Guest
It could be that you are hearing two different words that have close to the same sound: ?ma-laang? áÃŧ and ?ma-reng? ÃÃà Ãç§(remember that the ?r? is commonly pronounced as ?l? sound). ?ma-laang? áÃŧ is the word for insect and is used as a pre-fix for different insects. ?ma-laang wan? = fly, ?ma-laang pawng? = scorpion for example. ?ma-reng? ÃÃà Ãç§ is cancer.
elef
If you consider the pronunciation, I suppose ?ma-reng? is the french maligne instead of the normal explanation that it originates from english malign.
