farangman Posted June 25, 2002 Report Share Posted June 25, 2002 Most of the leading ad agencies are here : Saatchi & Saatchi, O&M, JWT, DY&R, BBDO, Lowe Lintas, McCann etc etc. There is also many local and regional agencies - too numerous to mention. If you are looking for employment here though with any of them, you will find it extremely difficult, but not totally impossible. It all depends on which area of advertising you work in. If it is in graphic design as I have interpreted your post by reading between the lines, I think you may find it very difficult. I would suggest if you are working in the industry in Farangland, to seek an appointment in Thailand by getting sent here by them. The industry is very slowly coming out of a recession and most agencies predict standing still in terms of billings year on year, or at best only a slight growth. So it is not in the healthiest of environments at the moment although things are predicted to improve over the next 12 / 18 months. Good Luck anyway.
