Guest
sitting in a cab in the evening heading for Don Muang departure. Seeing all the multi colored lights in the isaan restaurants passing by, hearing the exotic music and see all the lovely smiles. Seeing just arrived farangs heading for sanuk. Smell the thai cooking from the food stalls.Leaving paradise slowly but inevitably by every mile the cab travels closer to the moment when I grasp the last sigh of hot humid thai air before entering the aircraft. These are things that could make a grown man cry and I could live without.
Guest
Pepsi: that is one long/sad drive. somehow, remindes me of the last walk on death row from one of those prision movies. only bright spot, it thinking about "next time" as we all know "next time" is going to be bigger and better than last time. Guest
I've done tha journey seven six times and it never gets any easier. I've no intention of ever doing it again. My last plane ticket to LOS was one-way.
zanemay
Yes... I've been here for 3 months and will be getting in that cab to the airport in three weeks. I will be leaving two really terrific, loving girls (watch for my trip report). There are three mitigating factors: I have a terrific, loving girl waiting for me in the US. I enjoy California. I have a return ticket to LOS. Zane May
