Guest
I work for one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Thailand. You'd think they'd want their employees to be well-connected and adopt the web lifestyle. Wrong assumption! Accordingly, if I want to prepare good material for my students, I have to go home and use my PC. Unfortunately, the fastest connection I can get is about 29 Kbs, and it's often much less. As you know, that's painfully slow! Am I doomed to slow Internet connections for the forseeable future? I live in the Pinklao area, and I must dial "9" to get an outside line from my apartment. I pay B5 every 15 minutes, and that doesn't include the ISP charges on Loxinfo, SAMART, etc. Help!!!!!
