zanemay
I have been asking questions about computers and digital cameras lately as I have been shopping for them. I made my purchases off of craigslist.com, a site where everything is sold and all listings are free. Very, very excellent site. IBM Thinkpad 600E Computer: $465 Intel Pentium II 366 MHz mobile CPU 13.3" Active Matrix XGA bright display, 1024x768 6.4 GB Hard Disk 128 MB Memory, can take up to 288 MB 24X CD Rom Built in 56k modem with fax capability Light Weight ? weighs slightly less than 5 lbs, 1.3" thin Built in Stereo Speakers, microphone, headphone/ext speakers jacks USB, Infra red, external monitor, ext kb/mouse, docking, serial and parallel ports Security cable lock slot 2 PCMCIA slots for adding options like network card. Working Li Ion Battery IBM AC Power adapter 110/220V Loaded with Windows 2000, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and other utility programs ***** Camera HP PhotoSmart 812 4 megapixel Digital Camera $325 Brand new, unopened and still factory sealed. A great little tiny camera. ***** Both are working great and I am delighted with the purchases. I have owned a Thinkpad for 4 years and it has been great. Especially the screen and the 1.3 inches thick and 5.5 pounds. But no USB port and only 2 gig drive. I just uploaded my first digital photos and things are going well. Thanks for your comments and help. Zane May I am in the process of hooking everything together.
