some hints when asking for a translation.

Quite a few posters ask for a translation of a certain English word, or a short sentence.

This is very difficult. One can always look it up in a dictionary, but the problem is that rarely can you translate an english sentence word for word. Just translating a single word doesn't mean that you can say something in Thai that makes sense.

There are a few good Thai speakers on this board that can help out. But when asking for a translation, please try to give the full sentence and place it into the proper context. Makes it so much easier to give you something sensible to say next time to yur Thai GF etc.

Just an observation here
