What about Naklua in Pattaya

Last trip I stayed in S Pattaya for about 17,000 baht a month. My Thai friends tell me I can do much better in Naklua. I want a good swimming pool, preferrably in a condo situation.

 

 

 

Does anyone have info?

Well, Nakhlua is a little bit further away from the regular tourist hangouts. Do you get around on a motorbike/car when in Pattaya? If so, Nakhlua could be interesting. Some friends of mine rent houses out on soi 12 I think it is (same soi as Cotton Club). 2 bedroom houses for around 14000 per month. There's a swimmingpool within the estate.

 

 

 

Condos? Just a single room with no kitchen? Sunshine Inn on the soi just before Soi 12. Don't know if it's 11 or not - but there's 7-11 on the corner and some beer bars further in on the street. Swimmingpool is available. Rent? Don't know, checked back in 97 and the going rate then was 6000 per month.

 

 

 

Prices in S Pattaya are generally higher, but the location is better if nightlife is your main attraction.

A friend gave me a business card for some guy named Prakong Jones who runs the BJ Guesthouse in N. Pattaya. He also arranges rentals in nearby furnished condos. His phone number is 038-421153. Might be worth looking into.
