Seem to have missed your post so am sorry for the late answer.

 

 

 

You can receive a non-immigrant visa under class "O" which allows 90 days in country at a time and this can be as a one year multi entry. This would still require you to exit/enter every 90 days but can be obtained with marriage certificate and probably Penang is the best place to get.

 

 

 

If you already have that and income from overseas of about 20k baht per month that you bring into a Thai bank you may be able to extend this visa on a yearly basis so that you don't have to exit country on the basis of supporting a Thai national.
