Black people in thai movies

Well I went to watch 1+1=0 last week end.Actually pretty good but one of the best scenes in the movie wasn't the only one showing a black guy.He comes up very arrogant in a Ferrari, shouts at the 2 heroes and very soon is beaten up and watches his car getting destroyed.Helpless.The figurant makes some money just to look utterly stupid on the screen and while many of the other misdeeds the heroes do will catch up with them this one won't ever be evoked again and is obviously only a matter for a good laugh.

A while before I watched Nor Chor, where the only black character is very secondary and there mostly for the honor of laying butt naked on a table and have a prison ward stick his gloved finers in his ass.Nothing comes up.Hence the warden superior wears the glove himself and sticks ,stonger and deeper this time, his hand inside the african butthole, coming out with a couple of small drug packages and shit around. He follows with the great line 'this is expensive shit",wich i kindda remember as it's one of the fery fews in English.

So anybody has other example of african guys in Thai movies??Kindda wonder if it's general(knowing a few thais and a bit the way it goes out here,I'll tend for the Yes,but won't mind contracditory examples though)

I think a very old Thai feature film about 25 years ago had a black guy from Mission Impossible TV series star in it. His name slips me but something about Morris? The movie is called GOLD. It has many parts I think it is the first one. They are directed by the same guy - Chalong Pakdeevijit- a veteran director in Thai movie industry. His role in the film was basically the same in MI. So, I think the bad black man image was not portrayed in this film.

not sure if that counts, i have Porn again "chocolate Steve" showing in my Pattaya home movies, dressed in his dirty Arsenal shirts. Definitely a bad movie stereotype about black people, I must say!!!! laugh.gif

I know of a black guy in Bkk who was continually badgered to do commercials in Thailand. As a footballer, boxer........... blah, blah, blah.

He refused, as he didn't want to be recognised in shopping malls by school girls. He'd seen it happen to friends who'd consented.

After all, who wants to be followed by giggling schoolgirls when you're trying to keep a low profile. :-)

There's a black guy (or at least darker than most, might be a look khrueng?) in Borp Weed Sayong (or something like that, sold as "Body Jumper" DVD too) that seems to be an OK character. Actually saves the heroes at one point in the movie. If I remember correctly...

I thought Body Jumper is the english name for the movie "Pii Bop" or Pii Pop".Could it be "Borp Weed Sayong "as well?

Anyway while I remember it was a crappy movie with sexy actresses,I can't recall any black actor in there
