Seeking IT/Banking Project Manager Position

The job market in the States is awful, particularly in my field, where it's basically a depression. So I need to network any way I can, including here.

I'm seeking a position - permanent or contract - as an IT Project Manager/Consultant specializing in the banking industry. I have 16 years' professional experience working for/with banks, on both the business and technical sides. In addition to project management and consulting, my experience includes programming, MIS management and corporate banking (lending officer).

Following is a summary of my key skills:

? Implementation Project Management & Consulting

? Wholesale and Retail Banking (front-, middle-, back- and side-office)

? Client Relationship Management (to CEO level, including sales)

? Banking Business Strategy/Process Analysis & Design

? Internet Banking Technologies such as XML/IFX

? Software Specifications & Development

? Systems Analysis, Integration & Testing

? Corporate Finance & Accounting

? Contract Negotiation/Management

I am willing to travel full-time to client sites, domestically and internationally. Actually, 100% travel is my preference. I have worked for/with banks from France, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, the U.K. and the U.S. I am presently in Thailand, and staying here - or elsewhere in Asia - would be nice (in lieu of 100% travel).

Please send email to: harveycrouton@yahoo.com if you have any leads. Cheers!
