robaus Posted January 25, 2002 Report Share Posted January 25, 2002 I always use A$ TC because I get a better rate than A$ notes type cash .. I "think" its this is true for most currencies at banks in LOS. I get my TCheques commission free through my Aussie bank, so it all works out OK to my benefit. A mate of mine recently used his credit card to obtain cash and noted down the exact rate for TC at that Thai bank on that particular day. When he got home he cross checked his card statement and reckons that the card rate and the TC rate were exactly the same. Anyone else verify this from personal experience? Thanks.
