Ashman
I hear rumours that ten baht coins are arriving in Europe by the parcel load, eight to one not bad.
dinkas
I was in Europe over Christmas/New Years and was able to use a few 10 baht coins. However, I found most vending machines wouldn't take them, particularly in Germany and ended bringing most of them back. There are enough differences between the two coins for the newer machines to know the difference. I wasn't game enough to try to pass a 10 baht coin in a store (I found most stores looked at the coins carefully as the coins were still new to them as well). A better bet was with one baht coins which are exactly the same as the 50 fenning coins (around 9 baht value). They worked at every vending machine I tried! But now the Euro this won't be possible anymore.
