Plainsdrifter
How easy is it for a TG to get a visa to enter Mexico? Has anyone ever tried to enter with a TG or does anyone know of Thais entering Mexico alone?
JAYBLOOM
Thais need visas for Mexico. They do not need a visa for: Aruba, Bermuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Why do you want to bring a TG to Mexico? Check out: http://www.delta.com/travel/trav_serv/intl_travel/timatic/index.jsp / 16NOV02 / 0437 UTC National THAILAND (TH) /Destination MEXICO (MX) MEXICO (MX) Passport, visa and Tourist Card/form FMT with consular stamp required. Visa and Tourist Card/form FMT with consular stamp must be issued by Embassy/Consulate in Asia, Australia, New Zealand or Papua New Guinea. Cash deposit may be required (refundable upon departure). Visa in expired passport is not valid. Visitor must hold: - ticket and documents required for onward or return journey; and - sufficient funds. Non-compliance with the entry regulations will result in fines for carrier from USD 850.- to a maximum of USD 1800.- and deportation of passenger to country of origin at carrier's expense. Minors up to/incl. 17 years: (the notarized letter of consent has a validity period of 30 days and is good for a single entry only). travelling with only one parent must hold: - a valid passport; and - if the parents are divorced: a court order of child custody; or - if one of the parents is deceased: a death certificate; or - a notarized letter of consent signed by the parent not accompanying the minor. Travelling alone must hold: -same as above, but the notarized letter of consent must be signed by both parents. In all cases: if the birth certificate shows that the minor has only one parent: it is recommended to hold the birth certificate together with the passport. Guest
Only 3 reasons I can think of for bringing a TG to Mexico. 1) Tourism, not likely unless she is already legally in the US. 2) Work, unlikely as Mexicans will work same price or probably cheaper. 3) Backdoor way of sneaking into the USA. Now which one do I think is most probable????
Guest
jaybloom, NAFTA=North American Free Trade Agreement. Ever since that went into effect our borders became even more fucked up than before. In my own special way I was saying what Retic just posted # 3) Backdoor way of sneaking into the USA. Inflation is a MF tough our "new citizens" used to pay coyotes $250 US now they put out $450+ to get a over here.

JAYBLOOM
"Is this the complete list, to your knowledge?" No, I just looked up the Carribean countries where English is widely spoken. If you use the link that I posted above, you will find a few additional Carribean countries. I didn't check South America. The real reason I checked is because I am so tired of seeing Falangs running around the world bending over backwards to meet these Thai girls. If the falang were to mail the TG a plane ticket to Bermuda, I think the farang would get a much different perspective on how the relationship would work out in the future. The falang is definitely "off balance " in LOS when he is trying to court a TG. If they were to meet in Bermuda, there would be none of this "I want to bring my sister on our date" crap or "we can't hold hands because the other Thais will view me as a service girl" or she is busy talking to the taxi driver the whole time while the farang is staring at the traffic on Suk etc. (the list goes on and on). Also, if the TG can't get her act together to figure out how to get a passport and to fly to Bermuda (the falang would mail her a plane ticket-non-refundable),then this should be a major warning sign that she is not ready to live abroad. Mentors
They do not need a visa for Vietnam. So if you have a GTG make some days with her in Vietnam. i think this is a good idea, except you like butterflying with Viet-angels.
