When to have a dinner late at night

I and my wife will arrive BKK at 10:00 PM. When could I have the dinner late at night?

1. I prefer Thai food

2. Away from night life but close to World Trade Center

3. price range 500 Baht

If its your first time there probably in your hotel, all hotels cook thai food and not too expensive either.

Eat the food outside of the WTC.

They have bands playing, many food stalls

plenty of eye candy as well.

Also very cheap

if you like duck

you are a lucky man...

 

across the street from wtc

(if you are facing opposite from wtc,

it is on the corner to the left)

is the BEST and MOST famous

place to get khao naa ped.

everyone talks of it

and everyone in the area

know how great it is.

 

open until 5am or later

as i have popped in after my rounds.

i think of this place often when i am working

the laborious la day hahahah

 

surroundings slightly stark

but entire meal under 200bht

and when owners see you really know

and enjoy local cuisine,

they will slip a couple of extra dishes on you. . .

Is that rice with duck's face?

It translates to this but naa can also mean, on top.So its duck on rice.Kinda like khao mun gai but the rice is plain rice with duck on top and usually served with the same sauce used in pasai eow and phut boong,garnished with ginger and chilli.Sound good,its is.
