Was wondering if anyone could recommend a shipping service for one large box of overflow items from my luggage. Speed would not be of the essence. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Guest Posted February 11, 2002 Report Share Posted February 11, 2002 Shipping out of Thailand is not hard. There are many freight forwarders to choose from. As long as you are not exporting Antiques, there is nothing to it. I would assume that you would want to ship the cheapest way being sea freight instead of air. You will basically purchase space on a shipping container in the for of CBM's (cubic meters). You will be charge by the volume, not the weight for sea freight. I would suggest that you stick with a world wide chain such as Schenker, as you have some recourse if you should have any problems. Make sure that they pack well as they do not always do this well. I could recommend OEC Freight also. They do a decent job and have offices all over Asia and the USA. PM if you can't find their phone #. Hope this helps.
