was very impressed with Pimpa Ponsri at veteethai last sat. Pamela Bowden used to sing string and I get the feeling she has moved over to luktung due to getting on a bit. Her first CD was very popular esp the first track, she sings in english too. Had a chat with Siriporn Ampaipong behind the stage just before she went on. She claims to only have 45 Cd's so there must be a lot of re released stuff as I counted over 80.She says her favourite singer is chalermpon malerkam, not surprising. The Jintara website seems to be offline a lot and the dates were not updated when I was there even though she had concerts. For a change there was one close at lumpini.

Went to an enormous fair at wat rai king near nakom pathom. My luck almost ran out after the concert when a nasy type grabbed hold demanding cash while eyeing the camera up. If I have not been somewhere like that before when going alone I like to take a driver and the one I use takes good care, the ugly scene soon ended when he turned up.

Anyone know anything about Jenet Keow? she is something of a comic but has a very successful CD out and I am told can sing morlam in english? What else, Jintara just has a new CD out which I like more than the last one and the Video is good apart from one track fimled with a guy in a monkey suit. One track shows Jintara 'playing' the guitar.

 

Oh almost forgot did not get married, the GF said I love concert more than her and she was right the way she was behaving. Anyway music is better than women as it lasts longer, costs less and the singers don't moan at you to give them sinsot when they previously agreed not need.-peter
