Costco Run In US Gets Free Ride to Pattaya Plus Local Knowledge

Recommended Posts

If anyone coming from the US is ever willing to do a Costco run for me, I'll pick them up at the airport and deliver them to Pattaya and give them the benefit of any local knowledge I have from living here many years.

Details to be worked out if there is any interest. I believe some on the board would be willing to vouch for me.

I don't know Sam's club, but it may work. Basically I'm looking to get nice cheese and salami as well as some vitamins. I'll see if I can figure out online what Sam's club offers.

Sam's is just an extension of the WalMart circuit , named after Sam Walton , selling food and other crap the Walmarts don't stock... :barf:

My parent's belong to Sam's Club. You paid something to belong, not very much. Sam's Club was supposed to have cheaper prices than Walmart. Same stuff as far as I know.

Brought back 6 packages of One a Day vitamins - I think paid USD 8.00 each for them.

Was a generic brand - 300 tables, smaller size than Centrum. So 240 baht.

In Thailand, the Centrum for 250 tables is about 1,600 baht now.
