Hugh_Hoy
YES ! ANOTHER Federal appeals court has ruled the main cog in Obamacare to be unconstitutional. That is, Obama overreached his constitutional authority by requiring citizens to purchase health insurance. Since this was the only way to make "insurance" affordable, I see his signature pile of shit being scooped up and given the heave as soon as the U.S. Supreme Court rules likewise. Taking this travesty of legislation off the books will go a bit to balancing the budgets of the both the federal and state budgets. I can see poor, old Joe Biden now; you remember, the idiot who whispered "Isn't this fucking great" as Obama put his signature on a bill that was a tremendous help to fiscal conservatives in 2010's elections. Bangkoktraveler
Isn't it odd that the USA is the only industrial country without health insurance? Well not true, the military and government employees get health insurance paid by tax payers. If we end this socialism and also stop paying the tab for Iraq healthcare, then I would go along with those that don't want national healthcare in the USA. cavanami
Never happen as long as the politicians continue to fill their pockets with $$$ from lobbyists, big Pharma, big Corps, etc. My answer, for me, is to get out of US dollars and the USA. Let the politicians that made the pile of stink live in it!!
allistar
The requirement to force everyone to buy health insurance was always going to be decided by the Supreme Court. Maybe, we will get lucky and one of the hard line conservative justices will resign or die in the next year. If not, all that has to be changed in Obamacare is, instead of the requirement to buy health insurance, the law can impose severe financial penalties on those that don't have insurance and refuse to get it (if they want to get insurance at a later date). And that can be done without congressional approval.
