gobbledonk Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 I wonder how that Sports Bar at the top of the square will get on - its very nicely kitted out inside, but the building itself still looks just as nasty as it did when it was the ladyboy theatre. Still not sure exactly why Ms CP thought I had a hankering to see Katoeys strutting around on stage, but the money would have been much better spent at Emporium, and its not every day you'll hear someone say that. Actually I believe the sports bar and the Mambo Cabaret co-existed in that building for many years. Bar downstairs on the left and Mambo upstairs. Maybe not the same owners now but the sports bar was originally opened by the owners of Square One Bar which is now (has been for many years) New Square One Pub aka Taffy's Hairy Pie Club.
