  1. I used to stay at the Sheraton. From there it was a short walk to the Highlands :hubba:
  2. I can say that the management of the steel mills in the USA did nothing but suck the $$$ out of the mills. While the rest of the world reinvested to update the equipment in their mills, the USA did nothing! I know, it was up front nd personal for me. I did more upgrades in Japan, Taiwan and China then were ever done in the USA. The USA management brought much of this on to themselves. The unions only worked to get what they could before the management sucked the business dry.
  3. I have been to Hong Kong 987 times over the years. Used to do visa runs from Taiwan to Hing Kong so have spent a lot of time there and have walked all over the place but never noticed so many Thai ladies as are reported there now. Plus several Thai ladies have told me stories of all the $$$ that can be made there selling puzzy...which I take with a large grain of salt. So I got my questioned answered, there are many Thai ladies in Hong Kong and me thinks with all the competition, like is now in Singapore, it is difficult to make money there True side story...we had the ship docked in San Francisco and two members went out on evening and ended up in Larry Flint's (or somewhere like this) place (near China Town) and had a few drinks and bought like $2000 of "beaver bucks" (yes, this is what they were called) for lap dances and whatever...WTF...they didn't even get a hand job much less get laid!!! I mentioned they could have chartered a lear jet, flown to Reno and gotten laid, CHEAPER!!!
  4. Found this: http://gridskipper.com/archives/entries/065/65836.php The Working Girls of Hong Kong Wednesday, March 26, 2008 A while back, I wrote about the go-go bar scene in Hong Kong's Wan Chai red light district. These palaces of neon and sex are seen by the locals as tourist traps rather than reliable places to score. After I published the post, I heard from a blogger named "Spike." His site, Spike In Hong Kong, chronicled his journeys through Hong Kong's underbelly. The blog's gone now, but Spike sent me some of the information from his archives describing exactly what happens inside these gaudy brothels -- and also information on the more hidden "freelance" hooker scene in Wan Chai. After the jump, hear an expert's view of the Hong Kong sex scene....
  5. Chatting with a Thai lady, she had this story that a Thai lady can "work" in Hong Kong and make a pile of money...better then in Singapore. Where do they work in Hong Kong? I know many places on Nathan Road and some discos/clubs but last time I was in Hong Kong, 5 years ago, I never saw Thai ladies. Of course, this info is not for me but a friend
  6. Had no idea that they are doing this in the USA... http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting/article/112370/welcome-to-debtors-prison-2011-edition?mod=bb-budgeting%20&sec=topStories&pos=7&asset=&ccode= Welcome to Debtors' Prison, 2011 Edition Some lawmakers, judges and regulators are trying to rein in the U.S. debt-collection industry's use of arrest warrants to recoup money owed by borrowers who are behind on credit-card payments, auto loans and other bills. More than a third of all U.S. states allow borrowers who can't or won't pay to be jailed...
  7. Get 'em warmed up good! I'm still getting it wound up for the next few days, then moose is on the loose!!!
  8. Roger that, at least for the next ix days and then back to BKK
  9. Minus 7 days for me and wheels up! I keep the ladies "warmed up" until you arrive
  10. Waaaay back when...I remember my Pop have the redio on and they would play, "Isty Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Poka Dot Bekinie"...I was still a pup and had no idea. Then laying in bed at night with my crystal radio dialed in to a local music station to hear the tunes. Much later, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, then on to Hendrix, Humble Pie, etc.
  11. When Viet Nam first started up, the US gov and news media sold it quite well to the US people. Even in the late 60's, most of "us" were "for" the war and thought it was our patriotic duty to serve if called upon and many enlisted. As the war continued on, this spin the US gov and news media had put on the war started to fall apart. In the 70's the protests were well underway. I remember it all too well. Fast forward to the present, the US in two wars as I type this out, but a very different day. The US gov and news media has for the most part kept the spin in place and the average Joe in the USA feels helpless to stop the two wars, IMO.
  12. Everyone can print their own money, but to get it accepted as legal tender Xchg rate: 1 Flasher = 5 Cavs Flashers and Cavs...scary!!!
  13. It seems to me, just part of the doomed US dollar story. I see signs in the USA, "Euros accepted here", etc. More and more people are dumping and trying to get away from the US dollar, IMO. I know I am buying gold/sliver/Yen/Baht/ Singapore dollars and Chinese Yuan in my efforts to flee the doomed dollar...we will see...
  14. I heard that on the northeast coast of the USA, in Mass?, they are using Berkshires, some locally printed currency?
  15. Secret to no hangover...just keep drinking

  17. Vaccines activate moron genes that cause further belief in vaccines Weekend satire special: New research accidentally conducted by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has discovered that vaccines activate the “moron†genes that normally lie dormant in human beings. Once activated, these “moron genes†cause individuals to lose higher brain function and the ability to question false information fed to them by doctors, drug companies and the media. This, in turn, results in even more people pursuing repeated vaccines, further causing expression of the moron genes, over and over again, until their brain function collapses to the level of a raw vegetable… otherwise known as a “voter.†Because of their disastrous effects on higher brain function, these vaccines are now being called “Moron Vaccines.â€... http://www.infowars.com/vaccines-activate-moron-genes-that-cause-further-belief-in-vaccines/
  18. ...can you say, day late and a dollar short?? WTF... Video of a TSA Pat Down AFTER Mother and Sons Get Off Train This is so mind boggling to me! I am still trying to figure out within WHAT law or right would the TSA have to pat down people AFTER they got OFF a train in Savannah, Ga.? Where is the sense in patting down people when they have gotten to their destination? But, more importantly what RIGHT OR LAW allows TSA to pat down people riding on trains? If all of this is true, then we are so down the rabbit hole in being a POLICE STATE in the United States! All of this invasion of privacy and having to SUBMIT to other people feeling us up all in the name of keeping us “safe from terrorism It seems to me there is one terrorist that is standing above all others now! After watching this, I believe those who are reading these words know exactly who/what I am claiming is a terrorist!... V1B3AubsTBo
  19. If it wasn't for President Lincoln printing up greenbacks, the USA would be a different place today! The greenbacks got Lincoln killed, IMO.
  20. Another stake into the heart of liberty... Wis. Assembly passes bill taking away union rights http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110225/ap_on_re_us/us_wisconsin_budget_unions MADISON, Wis. – Republicans in the Wisconsin Assembly took the first significant action on their plan to strip collective bargaining rights from most public workers, abruptly passing the measure early Friday morning before sleep-deprived Democrats realized what was happening. The vote ended three straight days of punishing debate in the Assembly. But the political standoff over the bill — and the monumental protests at the state Capitol against it — appear far from over. The Assembly's vote sent the bill on to the Senate, but minority Democrats in that house have fled to Illinois to prevent a vote. No one knows when they will return from hiding. Republicans who control the chamber sent state troopers out looking for them at their homes on Thursday, but they turned up nothing...
  21. Seattle Business Refuses To Serve TSA Agents A Seattle cafe has sensationally banned TSA workers from entering its business premises, refusing service as a consequence of the odious reputation the agency has required in the aftermath of a nationwide revolt against invasive pat down procedures and naked body scanners... http://www.infowars.com/seattle-business-refuses-to-serve-tsa-agents/
  22. I was still working full time but passing thru and staying several months every year in LOS. The USD was quite high vs the Baht, so was cheap as dirt for me, plus I was usually on the company expense account. Seemed easier to jump in a taxi and get around the city, now seems the traffic is in a constant jam. BTS was great and the MRT was not yet...if my lone brain cell remembers that correctly.
  23. Who the fark puts $39K into their baggage? Can you say, dumb azz... Two TSA agents arrested at JFK Airport for stealing $39K from passenger's bag http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2011/02/16/2011-02-16_two_tsa_agents_arrested_at_jfk_airport_for_stealing_39k_from_passengers_bag.html
  24. ...and how many (illegals) can you get into a van? e9SpALTz_ec
  25. [color:red]In the South, foreign auto plants are all non-union.[/color] So they don't have to provide UAW benefits, including their health insurance plans. WRT the Canadian trade agreement, that is old news. What is not old news is how quickly medical costs have risen at US based UAW plants, and how it is still at zero in Canadian UAW plants. Worth close to $20k per worker in cost savings. So while Detroit dies on the vine, factories in Windsor continue to not only do well, but expand I'd say "back to you HH", but I have obviously offended his California pension-sucking chicken shit ass, and he has put me on ignore. Gee, i am soooo offended. The foreign plants on US soil also make profits which get shuffled back to the homeland, not the USA. And pay millions of $$$$ in salaries, shipping, health care, ect. And were all built after 1990. Funny how you forget that. Not quite....example: The Honda engine is made in Japan and shipped to the USA for the cars. The "cost" of the engine is an expense that comes off the "profit" of the company. The Japan side heavily marks up the cost of the engine and thus, the USA gets a much reduced tax on the company's profits. This scam has been going on since day one. Benefits? ask the employees of the now defunct GE-Fanuc company. Was 1/2 GE and 1/2 Fanuc (Japan). After 20 years they got thrown out on the street. Severence, yeah right a real turd-bird parachute!! How many unions are in these foreign plants, like NONE! Is Saturn still around? The next one (post) is better...
