I do share your feelings. Normally far away from the big city the Stickman Weekly has always been sort of a medium to stay in contact. Sadness befalls me realising it shall be gone by next Sunday. Couldn´t it be replaced by a Stickman Monthly ?

Organic food can be bought from various " Royal Projects " up North initiated by the late king although I do not know how to get hold of it, my hotel uses it. Thailand grown shrimps I do not touch any more due to overpollution, they are regularly banned from the EU for that reason .

Considering the national lazyness I doubt there is any control about pesticides .

If you, dear sir, consider working as a burdon then a retirement comes as a blessing. If you, like the BuBi, enjoy your job because you can do what you want whereever, retirement comes as a threat. The important part of it is to get up in the morning and look forward to enjoy another day. I plan to finally give up my company maybe with 74 and then spend all which is there in a big bravado of calculated 10 years to come.

Whenever my dog pees an the grass the grass changes colour and becomes yellow. Which could be accepted as final proof that your story is true .

Apart from this : I start to regard President Donald as a blessing to the European part of the world. Since people did realise what happens if the idiots take over, the idiots have lost all elections in Europe and the European Union countries found out what it is worth to show some sort of loyalty towards each other. a couple of months ago I went into the large Sukhumvit branch of Bangkok Bank to open an account ( tourist ) . They said I had to have my passport confirmed by the German embassy . Is this still the case because I did not bother going there and probably spend 12 hours in a queue .

I don´t know what a VPN is but every Chinese I know uses devices which they call " Climb over the wall program " to get access to anything they want .

may I take the liberty to use this thread to get the esteemed community involved in another aspect of south East asian culture . Most lovely Pam from Lao due to a holiday on Monday took the overnight bus to Nong Kai and further transfer to Vientiane to oversee the demolition of the old family home in favour of immediate construction of future Bubi Towers . A monk has been called in for the fine tuning only to hear the monk say that 3 months inactivity would be essential to satisfy the ghosts previously living in the old building .

Pam rang me in tears on this very sunday to ask for further proceedings and I suggested to offer the monk 50 USD extra or a truckload of rice and make him reconsider the general layout . But she said no can . Finally the construction started later on Sunday declaring the new building as preliminary til further notice .

I shall keep you posted .

having been travelling to Siam since about 1996 has made me spend a true fortune on hotels, Isaan homes and things I cannot even remember . Mum broke leg included . Sometimes when reflecting on my activities doubtfulness arises deep inside myself thus darkening my usually positive ways of thinking .

It is when I read about dramas of the cockroach type that I collapse right away falling on the floor and almost provoke a sudden cardiac arrest due to overwhelming joy . And I know I was right , the Lord in his eternal wisdom has sent me to where life is good . Although lately elsewhere , Pam from Lao lub me too mut and need house in Vientiane . I am a cosmopolitan .

Apart from the mushroomfarmer I identified a woman with a large ass but an extremely sweet smile in her face . So we went off for further planning of the immediate future . The project came to a sudden death after we left the elevator in my hotel Soi 18 and she refused to enter the room because the door was painted in black colour . The name of the place is Park Plaza . I could escape from this crisis by sending madame home and exploring Soi 22 where I finally found Honey Bee massage , a place I still recommend as a heaven of peace and truely remarkable service .

What I wish to say is that beergarden should at least be kept alive as a starting point for further alternatives .

I have once shown the courage to eat something at Beergarden which I remember as one of the big wrong decisions in my life , on the other hand met a mushroomfarmer from Nong Khai which offered deep insights in sexual behaviour of elderly Thai people . I did not visit the establishment ever since but would be extremely sad seeing it closed .
