According to my 6-month regular blood testing all results incl cholesterol are very good which is due to :

- Disregarding currently popular nutrition theories

Gentlemen ,

in a recent discussion about how many BTS trains you have to let pass in the morning I suggested our Great Leader Khunsanuk to use a scooter or motorcycle to avoid the queues . Leader Khunsanuk strictly rejected my constructive suggestion by claiming motorcycle too mut dangerous .

I have to admit that motorcycles in the meantime have become my favorite transportation device in the big city although not for countrywide trips , I only use them for Sukhumvit-related jouneys and getting in and out of the sois . I do not have any statistics to use but my personal feeling is not that I am taking a major risk . I am an ex tuktuk-man but they really have become a pest by asking 200 Baht for a trip round the corner .

Absolutely excellent thread Khun Coss . I just have been about three weeks in the Kingdom reading the Post and The Nation on daily basis and there are 3 topics that I shall truely remember as the essential subjects :

1 ) A sort of Thai official tried to steel 3 virtually worthless pictures from a hotel in Japan and in consequence has been fired after national uproar which surprises me because normally people are moved to inactive post . The story made it through the papers over more than a week and I wonder if he should not have better killed a policeman on Sukhumvit Road driving a Ferrari early morning because such things obviously result in nothing .

2) A load of Thai officials made a lot of money being bribed by Rolls Royce , Airbus and some cable suppliers and although plenty of details are readily available from RR and the UK Serious Fraud Office there seem to be about 5 Thai agencies competing to follow this up and in the UK nobody knows whom to contact . I wish to speculate that identifying the proper agency shall take the local authorities a couple of years and finally nobody should be interested any more .

3) The abbot : in defence of the authorities I wish to remind the community that this has only been the third attempt to get hold of him which is not much .
