If a tax is due on April 15, 2012 - would you questioned why you must pay some of the tax at the end of the first week of January in the year 2011? Our Founding Fathers probably would consider that tax illegal based on the fact the tax is 'due' on April 15, 2012 and not collectable till then.

The Zimmerman case has become fodder for both the liberals and conservatives to fight over. Both sides claim they are right. Too bad it has gone this far.

The tax I find highly questionable is the 'employee withholding tax' employees/employers pay each week. Surprisingly nobody questions this practice. I consider this tax practice illegal.

Would he run as a Republican, Democrat or an Independant? He qualifies for each party.

What is amazing is that the Republicans can only unite to get rid of Obama..... The country is bankrupt and all they want to do is toss the black guy out , get rid of his healthcare, start another war and forget about the fact only X amount of revenues are coming into the country and the country is spending X+Y amount.

Exactly! If birth control can get tossed out because it offends one group then health insurance (including the VA) should be tossed out because some religions don't believe in doctors and medicine. Why don't the Republicans pursue the point that this issue can be settled by having the sick attend a prayer group and let the people pray for them?

Religion has been a major tease/torment during the last 3 years. Obama being a Moslem........ Reverend Wright...... Obama blowing up the Pentagon......... So to me, if Romney gets the nod it looks like religion will be a major focal point of the election.

I live in Arizona. In Arizona You don't need to ride a motorcycle without a helmet and if the Republicans get their way, you might be able to in the near future drive a car without an airbag or seat belt.

A little bit of me wants to see Romney win. It would become a classic if he were to be sworn in by Romney placing his hand on the Mormon Bible. I think every house in the USA would want a picture of that! I could make a fortune!

It should be interesting if Romney becomes President. I guess Republicans would rather vote for Romney who believes Jesus and the Devil were brothers. Being that Romney was a Mormon Bishop and a Mormon Stake President, it should be interesting to see if his beliefs will rub off on other fellow Republicans.

Dave Letterman claimed last night that Romney will pick Biden to be his Vice President.

Romney might take away our coffee and booze or at least raise the excise to a prohibitive level on alchol and put an excise tax on coffee. All in the name of god.

I listen to Michael Savage every once in a while. He sounds interesting at first but doesn't provide any real solutions. He likes to point the finger. Being he lives in a 'Socialist' state, you would think he would move.

With all the rhetoric Republicans make, was the world really a lot better when George Bush was President? I don't thank so! It would be a change of pace if politicians could provide real leadership instead of leading the gang to beat the other guy up over a second hand lollipop.

Since the USA's beginning in 1789 the goverment has produced an anual Statistical Abstract of the United States. Due to a lack of funds this document will not be produced for 2012. I find the documents to be facinating but I am told by the Republicans "We no need this no nore!" .
