  1. Others apparently perhaps felt Pongpat did not share enough...so top guy becomes fall guy. Klassik Thai reversal of fortunes Its the Buddha images that I find intriguing as well as the Khmer and Mon stone pieces. As many of you know Items like these are frequently seized at will when an individual is in a "vulnerable position"or given as "gifts"... Some 40-50 years ago before the market developed internationally "villagers" frequently simply gave them to top officials to gain favor- One hand washes the other and all of that. No wonder many fine objects are found in the collections of top Military and Police officials I have seen the collections myself...
  2. Sounds familiar Flash... I have my grandfathers pistol that he used as turn of the century chief of security for Southern Pacific Railroad/ my grandmothers 32 auto she carried when he was away working- my mothers 25 cal./ my Dad's European 1911 service weapon (that has some wear) and then there is my collection of various S and W wheel guns / Les Baers/ Browning/etc - Hm I like them... :dunno: :grinyes:

  5. JFK ,who my father worked with during his administration was I believe IMHO murdered because he was in process of changing the monetary system. Their is a pattern among assassinated presidents...
  6. Of course same same basic spiritual principle. We are all connected really.
  7. Same same could happen in LA or NYC.. Those that say this place is Bad that place is good well they just DON'T GET IT WE ARE ALL CONNECTED- by a universal spirit- What hurts one hurts all.
  8. I was not asking about some idiot in a video I was asking about YOU
  9. :( :(Supportive anecdotal evidence of a very dangerous tourist destination...again and again and now again..
  10. Supportive anecdotal evidence of a very dangerous tourist destination...again.
  11. Hmm not so sure about this. Someone as always is trying to make a buck... Yes it can be very dangerous if one takes risks that one does not ordinarily take at home. Drinking to excess running around with women you barely know.. :hubbahubba: Typical board member stuff :grinyes: I always tell single farang women to be careful down south at the beaches but then again this is the same the world over. But for sure if you are a dummy it can get deadly very very fast. Personally while not in residence fulltime anymore (now 50/50) never had a serious issue.
  12. We have all had Dengue at some point in time and the symtoms vary-it can be awful.. The key of course is not to get bit...its a lot like Thai girls
  13. Well there are aspects of all countries that are hard to take. Regarding freedoms well they are eroding. But Thailand has some serious issues in this regard . Also just on basic principles...your comment "I must be one of the worst places to live" Well that was obnoxious at the very least. There are parts of the USA that are breathtaking as well as free Sounds like you have never been there. Travel much? I bet not.
  14. If I were to do such a thing (shag freelancers)i I sure as hell would not be posting photos.
  15. Well I really have a huge distaste for Obama Reid etc but the notion that the Republican are less corrupt or less in bed with Wall Street and the corrupt Fed is fantasy-
  16. And his Thai non existent :shakehead
  17. The BIB probably did steal his goods... but he appears to be yet another scary, crude Pattaya LOSER-
  18. That sounds like a nice place to have a business--good luck with it. I like Nong Khai and will swing by this winter
