haltest
Its always hard speaking a second language and we all get mixed up from time to time, however some words or phrases sometimes have another meaning which we are not clear of at the time.......... I remember I was talking to an elderly and quite posh thai female friend and we were chatting away about her computer and she said it was not good enough anymore. So I told her that she should upgrade it and I used to the phrase "yok kreung" literally lift the engine which I thought meant to repair or to upgrade. Little did I know that it has another meaning so after she went quiet and I realised I had said something to upset her I managed to drag out of her what had upset her. Apparently yok kreung can also be used as an expression if a woman's pussy is too big, they can "yok kreung" and tighten the pussy and make it smaller. Well you live and learn..... jasmine
Hi, I know about the operation, but I have never heard the ""yok kreung" was used in that context. I thought it means only for things with engines. Jasmine

jai-dee
Last month in Phuket I saw a young lady making (japanese) crepes. The sign she had on her food cart proclaimed in big yellow letters: JAPAN CRAP We couldn't stop laughing but decided against telling her the real meaning for fear of embarassing her in front of the customers. Guest
I was just at a restaurant in patpong promoting a wheat beer with little cards on every table. The card talks about the beer and then ends with a big bold slogan: "why you don't try it" LOL!
