Cheer up buddy, there are lots of jobs out there if you are willing to work, and explore, you seem to be in a funk about IT, then do something else, at this time, there are many opporntunities, do not get hung up on one choice or dream job. :)

[color:"red"] Mr. captain has money and that's not the case for FP from what I understand. Even if Mr. captain is married, I am affraid miss TG is looking for the money. Unfortunately for many money is synonym for happiness but it is not.

Dear Thalenoi,

This is NOT the case of money. Her family has money and she does not (even though I don't know exactly how much) make little for Thai standards. Not all Thais concentrate on money.

If it is just money, it would have been easier to solve. It is attraction that she cannot get away from yet, she will wise up and move on. Being alone is IMO, the best thing for her right now.

I do not mean to sound sarcastic nor insulting, but putting money linking on a TG's ations is not for every Thai woman which my impression of your TG's experience leads you to think so. There are Thai families with real money which does not come from their daughters being with "farangs". ::

I am sorry that for many Thais, actually most Thai women with education and careers, the problem is NOT as easy as "how much". :( We are as complex as the Western counterparts and I am glad that we are. Of course we are not the type whom some "farangs men" will care to be with, but we like what we are :neener:

Cheers! :)

Hi,

[color:"red"] The problem for the TG crews is, being Thai, they obviously prefer Thai food rather than farang food! I know that a lot of the Qantas crews for example, layover in expensive places like the UK and US, get HUGE allowances for meals and then go to McDonalds to eat and pocket the cash. The TG crews have the problem of finding cheap Thai food in these expensive places they go, and the allowance that is given to them by TG is pretty mean, IMHO.

It is true, a freind of mine was PAN AM's air hostess (retired) who would take a small bottle of fish sauce and pepper which she used to pour on everything. When I travel, I seek an Asian restaurant every 2 days or it is simply misarable to go without rice for more than 3 days :( :( My mother calls it "Running out of rice energy".

On your problem, I think it is best right now to be away from you and I hope she can stay away from that pilot. She needs time and room to sort things out on her own and one day she will wise up.

It is not the money issue here, it would have been easily solved if it was.

Cheers! ::
