shotover
Good site. Wonder if it can take a Thai email and translate it back into English?
chilli13
yeah I gave it a go as well, but was a bit dissapointed that only very polite sentences we're available
Guest
AFAIK it is the same as the rest of this very helpful site. The other site I use a lot is http://www.thai-language.com The engine being used there is called Parset (sp?) and was developed by NEC in Japan. English to Thai OK, but not the reverse, although it is supposed to be able to translate Thai website into english. I will try it later to see how that works. Yes basicly only polite stuff, but there are some exceptions. I use it mainly for the dictionary and then cut and paste to my own list of Thai words and phrases, that in turn I use to write emails to GF. Very helpful when trying to explain something out of the regular, how are you? how is mama? conversations. The ability to cut and paste Thai script is great. Guest
To correct myself even further, my refences to the translator are at http://www.learningthai.com/resources.htm So that's at least 3 sites. Maybe Mod will move this to language forum.
