stumpy
Any suggestions for breakfast in BKK? In Pattaya I like to go to Palmers Bar. Often I only want toast and coffe but sometimes a fry up is nice. What about Old Dutch or similar? I want a venue catering for a farang breakfast and not a Thai restaurant that also does English food. Cheers, Stump_Dog.
Guest
Around Nana, try Jools, Chequers, or Bus Stop for english/western. Heidelberg for european. Nana hotel buffet is OK and the Dynasty does cheap reasonable a la carte. All the above work for me depending on mood.
rovineye
I like Palmers for breakfast also (usually around noon!). Can even play a game of darts while waiting also. In BKK I sometimes eat at the raised place near living room in Clinton Plaza. Name escapes me, but not Delifrance. Good breakfast, espresso, and Thai food also (I love the smell of curry in the morning, it reminds me of..???). Bon Apetite
limbo
Give Bus Stop a try in Soi 4, good value for their breakfast and also their other food. Check for some threads on the bus stop, one was very recently here about their schnitzels. Cheers, Limbo
Guest
I always push the brunch at Crepes and Co. on Sukhumvit Soi 12. Not all-you-can-eat, but filling.
fatbastard33
I normally breakfast at the Ship Inn, soi 23, just before Soi Cowboy. Nice little cosy place. If I am butterflying and do not want the Ship Inn waitresses to drop me in the shit the Old Dutch (corner of Soi 23 and Soi Cowboy) is quite good.
