Guest Posted April 21, 2003 Report Share Posted April 21, 2003 Based on this thread, on arrival in Bangkok (on Friday) I rented a Ford Laser from Hatch for 1 month @ 800 Baht a day. The car was fairly new and did have 1 problem where the headlamps did not work! Next morning take it back given a new car and the original ford laser will be given back to us tommorrow hopefully all fixed! It seems he runs a good shop and was impressed with his service. Some more details about him : 1 Shop in Bangkok with around 30 cars on the books 1 Shop in Pattaya with around 70 cars on the books. In Bangkok there were only a couple of cars available and everything else seemed rented out! Ownership wise, it is a group of Thai and Farangs who own Q-Cars. Sanukboot. Me too, I'll be coming back to his shop when I need a car again. Side note - he prefers cash payment up front. Don't really know how flexible he could be with credit cards.
