think_too_mut
Yesterday, being a bit late for check in on a SQ flight SYD-SIN-BKK, I asked politely if there were any windows seats left. "Sir, we have 320 spare seats on this plane. You can have any of them". SIN-BKK, there were, I think 350 spare seats. And then manadtory health check at Don Muang. Guest
I'm coming from the US through Taipai in 2 weeks...how was the screening coming through Singapore? Any problems? What did you have to go through? ::
rovineye
Read somewhere that the tourist hotels in Singapore that are 10-15 % full are the lucky ones! Looks like lots of rest for rovineye on the flights in 2 weeks. 5 across in the middle!
think_too_mut
There is a short post of mine about that in the General Discussion section, "SARS Update". Page 9 I think. Annoyance, Thais were not yet well organized. Body temp check and 5 secs listen with a stetoscope (through clothes). After that, nobody waiting at the immigration section counters. Most of the people on the plane were already wearing the masks but not the crew.
