Guest
If she were desperate to repay the loan to prevent her mother from getting smacked around she could freelance 2-3 extra nights this week and fix her problem. If her freelancing annoys much you should pay. But it sounds like that would be throwing good money after bad. Interesting description especially the: "likes to dress up in semi-religious costume and assorted gear when aroused." Care to elaborate a bit more? khwaimaisabai
Hi peter, Actually, treating this as compound interest, 10% every ten days is equivalent to 3,242% per year. 10% every month would be 314% per year. Khwai
samak
khwaimaisabai! your samoong also mai sabai! the interest is NOT added to the principal and every 10 days a increasing interest added on the principal. there is no compound interest, just simple interest. the interest is paid in cash every 10 days on a stable principal. so in one year 36.5 times 10% = 365% of course the annualization of the interest reate is a bit oversimplyfied by this simple multiplication. if you would calculate the Present Value of all payments with a common discount rate of 6%, you would get than a shlightly higher interest rate. 365% interest rate would be strictly correct if all the interest is paid at the end of the year. but we do not want to make it too complicate.... jasmine
[color:"red"] Have you considered giving her 2K to pay the principal? [/color] Very generous to suggest it, however, methinks, a lesson of financial management can do her good also. Cheers!
