DingoJack
One of my mates is going to LOS soon (lucky bastard!) and he would like to stay close to Patpong. Now I always stay in the Nana, so I could not recommend a hotel to him. Suggestions?

Guest
Montien couldn't be closer. Step out of the main entrance, through the carp park, cross Suranwongse Road and your are in Patpong! Excellent chicken and rice set Chinese lunch too! What moer could you ask for. What is their approximate rate per night? Thanks Shotover
CondomKing
My recommendation would be Saladaeng Place right off Silom Road on Soi Saladaeng One, which is basically across the street from Robinson's. It is a service apartment with single night availability. Last time I had friends stay there it was something like 1500 Baht per night. I think you can cut a better deal if you stay there more than a night or two and aren't afraid to bargain. Like I said, it has been a while, so it would pay to check on the policy. If you are interested in an apt type accom, kitchenette, marble bath, etc., I can probably find the # for you.
