Roger
Just out of interest... is this cable or satelite dish?? I have been told that I cannot watch two different channels at the same time with the satelite dish Cheers Roger
lopburi3
As I posted above in a quote from the UBC website they can provide a second point for a price if you want to pay for it. You can not do it without additional equipment/money so expect that was why you were told it could not be done.
farangman
Sorry...yes it's cable and not satellite. I would imagine you would need 2 dishes with satellite in order to watch different programmes. Cheers farangman
Guest
I don't think you'd need two satellite dishes but what you probably would need is two receivers and more importantly you would likely need an extra smart card from UBC for an extra receiver to work. Nervous_Dog
With the new encryption UBC introduced this year you will need 2 stb's and 2 smart cards, however, there are devices around, but any investment here on your part will be wasted money as in the next few months UBC will again raise the bar on piracy, and the system you invested in will be an expensive paper wieght. Better of paying for the 2 boxes OR just tuningt he 2nd tv into local reception NOT satellite!
