As a (reasonably shaggable!) female Aussie expat teacher said to me in Grace Coffee Shop, "Thailand's a man's country". However, remember the golden rule; no fornification untill certification, and you'll be OK. A lot of staff seems to start relationships as well. maybe it has to do with the fact that not all staff comes to thailand for sanuking reasons.
