steffi
So, if anybody has done this recently please PM me. Otherwise... 1. What is the latest application fee? 2. Where do you go to get translations (typical cost per page) and certification of translation?
jai-dee
Visa charges (and all other information) are posted on the OZ embassy site. Migration package costs AUD1175 or THB 29,950. However you'd better check with them because at the current exchange rates 1175 dolars is more than 32,000 baht. I'd be surprised if they haven't increased the baht charge. I did all my translations in Australia and had them certified by the government Interpreter Service. And although we submitted extensive documentation to the embassy, the application has been put on hold for several months , because my wife is unable to provide a chest X-ray due to a certain medical condition that won't be resolved before September. Redbaron
re: TRANSLATIONS Check out a few of the places near Wireless Rd on Sukumvit. We did them all there. (Her ID card, House Titles, School Reports, Job stuff and something else -can't remember). Cost us 3000B, took a week as it all went to the Thai Dept of Foreign Affairs for verification. The minister or some politicial/official signed them for some reason too.. all pretty impressive stuff.
